Spitzapuhloozah

Governor Spitz has resigned.

He has shamed himself by overspending on hookers.

He has demonstrated his own double standard by arresting hookers and shutting down prostitution rings while chartering flights to Florida to get dirty dirty boom boom in the sunshine state.

He also tried to swallow his own face.

It's funny... I was originally going to punch at Spitz for his antics, but that's kinda old news at this point. More fun is to punch the news media, especially the sexist women's groups that are making this into an issue about his wife's appearance at the resignation.

Spitz's wife, who looked very displeased, appeared next to her husband when he spoke to the press. Now the media is picking on what a horrible sham it was that they made Mrs. former Gov appear as the steady wife when he was as bastard of a husband.

Maybe she actually is a steady wife and wants to be there.

Is she incapable of her own thought? I'd like to think that she's standing there because for whatever reason she feels it's best for her. I'd imagine if she was a 100% "victim" as I heard thrown around, she'd not be there. She'd have burned his stuff and moved in with her sister.

Maybe she knows that comes with the territory. Maybe they've got a swinger arrangement. Maybe she's got something going on the side. Maybe they're in a loveless marriage and she doesn't care... she's just mad because he blew it and they're getting kicked out of the gov's mansion.

Who knows? She does. Maybe Spitz does too. I don't. Nor do I care. Nor do I think it's anyone else's problem. I wish people would stop caring about the fringes of politics. People's sex lives, family lives, personal issues... all of the stuff that has no place in politics. I wish the government would get out of people's personal space and I wish that people and the press would get out of the politician's personal space.

It's sad.

The economy is tanking. The war is a monetary nightmare. People are dying. Things aren't well.

And our congress is questioning baseball players about steroids. It's news to our president that gas prices are going to set record prices in the next few months. In flipping channels, the major network news channel that I landed on was doing a piece on who would the best actor/actresses for the movie of this story.

Our priorites are so skewed.

Are We Out of Missiles?

Sorry I've been out of pocket lately. I've been laid up with bronchitis. Blech.

Anyway... I saw that in response to the US endorsing Kosovo's independence, our friends the psychotic Serbians attacked and burned part of the US Embassy.

And the US is basically saying, "don't do that".

Did someone at the pentagon forget that a US Embassy is a piece of US sovereignty? I'm having flashbacks to Iranian and Vietnamese embassy demolitions. I think one marine with a machine gun could have fixed the problem. Protesting is one thing, but it'd be nice if when an angry mob attacks our buildings, they'd be shot. And grenaded.

Maybe after Operation Desert Debacle, we're out of ammo.

That's a shame.

Dream Teams?

Heh, Happy VD to you all!

So... as the primaries are starting to wind down, I'm thinking more and more about general election that's en route and about potential running mates.

It's fairly clear that the election will pit McCain vs Obama. That's a pretty good fight in my opinion. McCain would have rather had the Hilbot to run against, but alas, he baggage (real or perceived) dragged he down.

I'm interested in who these two are going to choose as their running mates.

I really, really hope that Obama takes Edwards on. I think the two of them would work well and I genuinely like Edwards.

If I were McCain... I'd do all that I could to bring Colin Powell in.

I think that Powell brings a level of respect to the republican ticket that McCain doesn't have. The strong right of the Repubs have never liked him and the middle of the road and indies are souring on the recent Bush lovin' that they've seen.

In 1995 I made a prediction that Powell would be the first black man elected to the White House as a Pres or VP... I still think he's got it in him.

Powell got screwed by the Bushites but didn't really burn any bridges when he left.

I think an Obama/Edward & McCain/Powel race would be a pretty interesting race to watch.

Gimme My Money, Jerk!

So the economy is going in the toilet.

That's not news... unless you believe Bush's press releases where he says the economy's fine. I swear to god Bush is a reincarnation of the Black Knight from Monty Python's Holy Grail...

"Sir, there aren't any WMDs in Iraq."
"Yes, there are."
"No there aren't, sir. We've dug up the entire country and there's nothing there."
"Yes, there are."
"Sir..."
"They're invisible."
"What?"
"Could be... invisible WMDs. Mission Accomplished!"
"What mission would that be?"
"We discovered invisible weapons in Iraq."
"No we didn't, you just made that up."
"No, I didn't. It's a fact backed up by several people that agree with me."
"You're a looney."
"I am not a looney, I'm the bleedin' decider, I am!"

So...

The House of Uselessness has decided to give Americans a pile of money to play with in the hopes of kicking the economy in the pants. That's fine by me. I'll take my $300-$1200 depending on which article I read.

But wait... isn't giving me back hundreds of my own dollars kinda like an admission that they didn't really need it in the first place? Or if it was needed, what program got cut to cover the $178 billion dollars of lost IRS funds in the Treasury.

I'm of the mindset that we'd have been better off handing money back since 2001 instead of attacking Iraq. I'd rather have $1000 less taxes per year than the best case scenario in Iraq. I don't care if they're a democracy. I don't care if Saddam liked killing babies. I'd rather have my cash, please.

I saw that in a rare bit of bipartisanship, the Republicans and Democrats (by the way, both of those terms are drawing equal ire from me at this point) are going to extend refund checks to people who don't earn enough money to actually pay taxes. That's interesting. Stupid I think is the word I was looking for.

I'm tired of the hand out nation. I'm tired of financing wars that serve no purpose. I'm tired of financing daycare for teens who were too stupid to use a condom and now have a baby or five. I'm tired of seeing my money (taxes) pissed away on stupid programs.

I think the tax refund is a good idea... and maybe one day someone will go gut the federal government and it's spending and go back to the old days when government was the same thing as social services.

Also, I'm having surgery on 3/3/08... so... that's fun too.

Remember That Scene in "Mars Attacks" Where Aliens Blow Up Washington?

I hate George Bush.

With every once of my being. There is no hell too vile for that little man.

I'm putting the majority of the legislative democrats into the "hate" pile too. Way to be a bunch of wastes of skin.

Everyone knows that Bush is a zealot who has no respect for the people he governs. (“I will not withdraw even if Laura and Barney are the only ones supporting me” for those that don't know... Barney is his dog and Laura is his cross-eyed wife.)

So the Dems said they were gonna end the war. Good. End it. Let Iraq implode. Seriously. Let a civil war blow itself out. Good good good.

So the Dems... in charge of where the money goes... say we're not going to pay more billions of dollars for this stupid war without a pullout date. Line in the sand time. Bush says no. I veto you. And you don't support the troops. And your budget refusal is going to cost the pentagon a thousand jobs. And now we can't buy armor for troops and they're going to get hurt.

And the Dems backed off. How is it that those people are the most spineless people in the world? Bush is an idiot. He is weak right now. Just attack him. Make him cry. Punch his dog .

If the Iraq budget not going forward causes a bunch of pentagon people to get fired, good. They're serving a crap purpose supporting something the majority of the country doesn't want. Fire them. If you can tell me not paying for a tank is more "not supportive" than being the jackass who keeps people in harms way, I'm all ears... but it's not true. Bush and his idiot supporters are keeping people in harms way. Money is not what determines life or death in Iraq.
So the Dems are wimps. That's bad.

What's worse? They decide to "Stick it" to Bush by putting in 9,800 special interest funding projects in there.

That's great... we couldn't fight off the retard in chief... so we'll just blow taxpayer money to spite him.

That deserves a smack from jesus. I mean really.

Bush had a press conference where he chastised the Dems for spending billions on the 9800 on special interest programs. If I were a Dem, I'd chastize Bush for spending billions on one special interest program. Also... of the 9800 new fundies... how many of them get people killed daily? Just curious.

The Federal government of this country is out of control and has lost focus on reality. If it weren't for the fact that the majority of people in this country are idiots, I'd say it's about time for a revolution... but it isn't. In the nintendo/ADHD/fat mcdonalds/mexifornia/suv/prozac nation that the US has become, there's no hope for intelligent self rule.

If ever in history there were evidence of a god, it was when an massive earthquake and tidal wave struck the pirate haven of Port Royal Jamaica and the whole town was swallowed by the sea... killing all of the inhabitants. One can only hope that there's a similar fate lying in wait for Washington DC... where a den of thieves never thicker could be found.

Seasons Greetings!

The Mean Have Spoken

So last night... at about 2:30AM.... Prince William County board of supervisors passed a resolution that will do the following:

Allow local police to require proof of citizenship of detainees (note, probable cause is still required for ID checks, police aren't allowed to just do ID checks for fun and games). Illegal aliens will be detained and shipped to the feds for processing.

Allow all programs funded by county tax dollars to require citizenship as a condition for participation in those programs. A major exclusion here, though, is emergency health care which is still required to be provided regardless of citizenship, insurance, etc.

The Board (which is populated by Republicans and Democrats) voted unamimously in favor of the resolution.

Here's some background... mainly for the people who don't live in the county and think this is an exercise in political theory... as opposed to me... who has to deal with this nonsense daily and as a fact of life.

Prince William County, over the past five years, has become a safe haven for illegal immigrants. Fairfax and Loudon counties have had more strict regulations regarding immigrants and neighboring Prince William has had none really. The majority of folks in Prince William County are fed up. There are areas, especially in Manassas and Woodbridge that have been completely run into the ground by crime, mostly MS13 gang related. Prince William Hospital's ER is jammed packed 24/7 with non-emergency handout seekers. 40% of the county's school kids are learning english as a second language. Social services/welfare spending has gone through the roof. The vast majority of residents, including legal immigrants, are tired of it. All of the supervisor positions are up for re-election this year.

The people of the county have spoken. The supervisors have listened.

Democracy in action.

400 people spoke last night at the hearing on the resolution. Most were pointless ramblings. There was a group of children who spoke and begged the board not to hurt their families and send their parents away. I thought that was funny. Obviously it isn't the parent's responsibility to obtain citizenship an ensure family unity... the county should just make it happen.

That and the random lady who went on a rant about how she had the right to be there. She was speaking from the illegal alien point of view and I think it summed up why this whole thing bothers me... somehow... people have come to feel that everyone is entitled to live in the US. They have the right to be here. They really don't. The law is pretty clear on that.

I think there are already 2 law suits against the county on this. The good news is that the county seems to have no inclination to back down and is looking forward to testing the law in court.

I was pleased to see that the board did not allow non-county residents to speak at the hearing. Since really... it's none of their business.

I'm a Cold Heartless Meanie

According to wide variety of people, I am a cold heartless mean racist type person.

And maybe I am... to some degree. Although I'm not racist. People have commented that some remarks I've made seemed racist or prejudiced... to which I usually counter (truthfully) that I dislike all people in general equally.

So the latest bit of angst that I'm inflicting on my fellow not-white man has to do with my support of the pending county legislation designed to discontinue all public services from illegal aliens and also allow local police to require proof of citizenship of anyone arrested.

I think that's a great idea. The federal government can't figure out what to do about immigration being out of control so my local government has decided it will do it. Great!

But some liberal folks seem to think I'm a racist because I don't support tax dollars going to help illegal aliens. Keep in mind... I don't support my tax dollars going to white trash mommies that burp out kids with no source of income and end up being a public debt.

You can accuse me of being mean. I'll take that. I'd love to see less of the money I work for being redistributed to other people that are social parasites. I love when I have to go to the ER and wait hours in pain while the nurses deal with unqualified parents and their uninsured kids with a cold who can't get service unless they go to the ER. I also like that because I have a job and am not a welfare case, I have to pay more in hospital bills to make up the difference that these donkeys create.

Ya know... I'm not a terribly mean person. I donated $750 to an at risk youth help program... basically helping orphans aged 7-17 get a chance at a real life. Those are the kids that never get adopted and statistically don't have a lot to look forward to in life. I thought it was a good donation. I also got some cool football tickets out of the deal too. But I was presented with the situation and I felt compelled to contribute some of my money to help.

Tax dollars is my money too. And I get pissed off when I see my money spent on stupid ideas and even worse on stupid people.

I don't illegal aliens. As a whole. The notion that because they're oppressed in their native land and want a better life is a justification for them to become my problem is crap. I don't care. I really don't. I have enough trouble dealing with all the problems in my own life without feeling compelled to take on the problems of a third world economy. I'm also pretty annoyed with the people who can't seperate the difference between not wanting illegal aliens around and not wanting legal immigrants around. Legal immigrants... yay! Seriously. Good for them. The guy I work with... legal immigrant. Worked very hard to be in the country legally and is an awesome guy. He wanted to provide a better life for his family and has been able to do so legally.

I guess I'm kidding myself.

Once I talked about how I hated people who had delusional senses of entitlement. I was going to say that I didn't get why people felt entitled to a piece of my piece of the pie. But then I realised that I am in fact the delusional one. I can't stand myself for feeling entitled to keep what I earned for myself to do with what I see fit.

I really, really hope the republican party gets its act together. I mean old school fiscal conservative stuff. Drop the religious zealots, drop the legislation of morality, and drop the sucking on corporate america's teet.

Boy I'm angry.

You're Doing What With the Who Now?

I was reading that one of our legislative committees just passed a resolution to declare Turkey as a bunch of genocidal maniacs. My gawd! What are those wiley Turks up to now? Well, the answer is nothing.

They're being called out on massive casualties to Armenians killed in the early 1900's.

Um, why?

I mean, who cares?

I'm sure there's now a Armenian American political action group out there that started this, but honestly... who cares?

It's kinda like if Spain's government sent out a declaration saying the United States committed genocide against Indians. It's true... but it's irrelevant. I'd have thought there was a stronger Native American political movement in the US than Armenian. We should also issue genocide statements about Russia, Britain, Spain, France, and other countries with a history of steam rolling ethnic groups.

So we decide now... when our foreign policy is an internation joke... to tell our one legit friend in the middle east (saudi arabia's a joke, I'd endorse a nuclear strike against them by the way) that we want to reprimand them for something that happened so far in the past to make it irrelevant. If Turkey was still killing Armenians, go for it. If I recall, France did the same thing and Turkey cut ties with them. Why are we following France? A general rule of government is to do the opposite of France in any situation. Seriously. If France thinks its a good idea, it's not. If France thinks its horrible... it'll cure cancer.

Also... Turkey has provided the only stable air fields to the US in the Middle East. Operations Screw the Pooch pt I & II have relied logistically on Turkey's air fields. Now that we've got a couple functioning in Iraq, are we saying we don't need Turkey anymore?

Ya know... if for some reason Turkey booted the US out, we'd have to maintain a large defense force to maintain those airfields in Iraq. And the US would have a legit reason for not drawing down troop levels in some areas.

Is it possible that someone is clever enough to pick a fight with Turkey so we get a justification to keep troop levels high in Iraq?

Maybe I'm thinking too much.

I need to go read some on the history of the Ottoman Empire.

I Want a Refund

I think that the government should be required to set up a 100% satisfaction program regarding programs that spend over $100 billion. If that much money is going into a single program, I'd like to be satisfied with it... of get a refund of my tax money spent on it.

The war in Iraq has cost every American $1,000 at this point. That number isn't adjusted for people who don't pay taxes, kids, welfare cases, etc. That's just 300 million people contributing to a $330 billion project.

I want my $1,000 back.

This isn't a political arguement. I could go on and on and on about how George Bush is a mental midget that thinks he's got all the answers (because jesus and his dog gave them to him), but I won't. It really goes beyond Federal incompetence at this point.

I just want my $1,000 back.

My money has purchased me nothing. It's my money... I earned it. I'd like to get something for it.

Hussein is dead. I don't care.
We've brought democracy to Iraq... and they voted into office an idiot. We should have known.
There's a holy war / civil war going on between two groups of people who can't agree on how best to worship their crap god. For some reason we feel that people with centuries of hatred should suddenly get along because we say so.
We're helping the people of Iraq... maybe... but even if we were, I don't care.

I want my money back.

Here's what you do... the Monty solution to the whole problem. Leave them alone.
Leave the Iraqis to the Iraqis. They will kill each other and blow each other up and eventually one side will be left and they can get a free set of steak knives from their crap god or whatever for getting rid of the infidels. It's an old solution. It doesn't work for everyone. But it does work.

If we hadn't been allowed to pick a fight with the British... we wouldn't be here.
If we hadn't been allowed to basically destroy a variety of Indian cultures... we wouldn't be here.
If we hadn't been allowed to steal Texas from Mexico... wait... actually... we should give Texas back to Mexico. Seriously.

Anyway...

I had to stop the post to get yelled at by my boss... so my train of thought derailed. It must not have been that important. Something... Bush is a twit... something about my money... Texas is a hell hole... something... I dunno.

bye!

Adios Buttholio

Hey, I just saw that Alberto Gonzalez is resigning. Good for him.

I mean good for the country.

Aside from the fact that he's a slippery weasel of a man, he's also a total jerk.

I met him twice. He's a jerk.

And short.

Nothing too huge to post about today... busy at work and all.

Hey... I did see that Mike Vick made a statement today that he accepts full responsibility for his dog fighting fiasco. I wonder if the NAACP will back off their position that he didn't really do it now.

Probably not.

And the Cheese Stands Alone

Wow... can you imagine my excitement to read the paper and find that Karl Rove (hereafter to be referred to as the Pillsbury Nazi) is leaving his position at the White House?

I'm thrilled. Thrilled thrilled thrilled.

Pilly has indirectly been responsible for some of the worst factionalization (Webster?) this country has seen in a long time. Something that stuck with me along time ago was in reading Thomas Jefferson, he repeatedly came back to the notion that factions would be the downfall of the US. Ol' Poppin' Fresh was a real mastermind of driving wedges into the population to further Dubs agenda. I'd argue, though, that if I wanted to get elected, I'd want to have my own Roundboy helping me. He was very good at what he did. I'd also think that after getting elected, I'd cut The Turdler loose. While he might be an election winning machine, he's done nothing for the country at best and at worst he's started the trend of marginalizing real issues for panic issues to produce fear and loathing in the American public.

It does crack me up a bit that Rovey the Wonder Whale feels victimized by the Dems. How can anyone be a vicitim of the Dems? That's like being a victim of Casper the Friendlt Ghost. Dr. Pudge said that he felt he like Moby Dick to the Dems Ahab.

You were half right, fat boy.

Yes, I know... it's a cheap shot to make fun of the fact that Karl Rove is a hefty round schmoo of a man. And I know that it's immature and poorly advised to point at his shiney bald head and laugh at the cruelty that nature played on him by cursing his great brain to live in a fortress of fat. All that aside, I bet that man has the worst body odor on a hot August day.

Seriously though, I have nothing against him.

Except that he should lay off the KFC big boy buckets.

I mean jeezy creezy dude, have you seen yourself?

Ugh.

Fat sack of human debris.

But seriously... good luck in the future Karl. Stay in touch... don't ever change! You Uncle Fester looking douche bag.

Warning, Bridge Out

So this weekend a bridge flattened some folks. That's pretty sad and there's nothing funny there. I did find it funny that George W is all excited about yet another reconstruction project though. Did his parents not give him tinker toys or legos to play with as a kid? Why is he so excited about building a new bridge? I think New Orleans is still on the "to do" list... as is the majority of Iraq. But fine... build a new bridge. If you build it out of useless FEMA trailers, you might go down in history as the 2nd worst president in American history.

Also, for the record, any bridge that moron claims to have had anything to do with will kill more people than the plague. You were warned.

Speaking of stupid, hundreds of thousands of small arms are missing in Iraq. Hmmm.

Where ever could they have gone?

I'd check the following places... Southeast DC, the Alamo, and Charlton Heston's house.

I'd be neat at this point to see who has given more arms to insurgents in the middle east now... is it Syria... is it Iran... or is the US DoD?

Is it possible to impeach an entire branch of government?

June 8, 2007

Adios Muchos!

I should be halfway to Atlantic City by now... on my way to enjoying a weekend of drunken gambling and womanizing. I'm not though... so this post will be bitter, even for me.

So... the new immigration law(s) look to be about as dead as can be. Probably for the best.

People who know me, know that I hate people in general so expecting any sort of compassionate response towards people fleeing plight to sponge off of my taxes isn't going to happen.

I read through the legislation... and all of the riders and proposals that could go along with it. There were a few things in it that were good ideas. Most were bad ideas. I don't many of them had the best interest of the country as a whole in the forefront though.

I did like the idea of making English the nation language. Last night I stopped to pick up dinner at the good old Arby's to pick up a colon-stopper and had to wait while a co-worker explained to the drive through girl how to say the word "twelve" in english. That honestly has nothing to do with illegal immigration though... there are tons of legally employed english-challenged folks... most of them around my house apparently.

But the bill is dead. Many people are crying about it. I think it's funny though. The general call from the political supporters is that the new legislation wasn't very good, but it's better than what we've got. I'm glad that our nation's finest have settled for sub-mediocrity.

I've got a drainage problem in my backyard. My plan to resolve it is to dig a 30 foot deep pit in my yard for the water to collect in. That way the non-pit portion of my yard will be dry. Maybe I'll even get a little bridge to go over the pit... get a troll to live under it... charge goats a toll for their passage. That way I can offset the cost of the pit.

It's a stupid plan... but it is better than my current one of doing nothing at all.

So illegal immigration is going to sour the careers of many folks. Which, is a good thing as well.

The democrats (for the most part) have shown that they're willing to sacrifice a large amount of tax resources to gain millions of potential voters. This is good for them in the short-term, but eventually once the illegals are off of federal entitlements, they'll switch away from the Dems and go with a more tradition "family values" republican.

The republicans are doing what they do best, protecting fat white people. They'd get more support from me if they'd leave jesus off the ballet, but until they stop legislating morality I say "nay-nay".

The bill killed John McCain's shot at the White House. If it passed, he'd have had plenty of time to cool off the angry Repubs and then have something to run on... but it failed and he failed with it. His move to realign with Bush didn't help. He should fire whoever advised him that moving from a moderate conservative to Bushite was smart. The Bush Titanic is sinking and while everyone else is getting to a lifeboat, MCain is asking the cruise director if the downward tilt of the deck with mean no shuffleboard. If he ran with a platform similar to what he had going about 4-6 years ago... he'd be my pick for a big white house.

Bush has now confirmed his place in history as biggest loser. The bill would have given his name to something besides the google search for "miserable failure". He tried. I will give him credit. He never flip-flopped. He's driving the country straight to hell and he's got no sign of slowing down the "stupid" train. I think the GW Bush memorial theme song should be Casey Jones by the Dead.

There are some other losers, but most were going to be losers no matter what.

In the meantime, we'll be the losers. We'll have no border security. We'll have no amnesty. We'll have no ability to enforce our immigration laws. We'll just keep on keepin' on. It's worked so far right?

United States, you have finished playing Civilization! You have achieved the rank of: Neville Chamberlain!

July 20, 2006

Did I Mention That George Bush is A 'Tard?

I suppose this could wait until tomorrow and go up as a FART for the week, but I already have other ideas for that. Keep a "middle eastern" eye on that one for tomorrow.

So Dumb-Bumb vetoed the Stem Cell research bill essentially blocking federal dollars for the research projects. That, in and of itself, doesn't make him an idiot... it was his rationale for the veto. Here are a few examples of ligitimate reasons for not using Federal dollars on the project.

1-The science is very dubious and it could be a cash sink hole.
2-Federal dollars shouldn't be in the medical research field, leave it to the pharms to figure it out.
3-The budget is still a mess and we need all the money we've got on pre-spent projects, not new ones.

But alas... we got, "American taxpayers for the first time in our history would be compelled to fund the deliberate destruction of human embryos."

So what.

American taxpayers are compelled to fund all kinds of things that they may disagree with ethically, morally or religiously.

The Supreme Court has heard (what out, flash of college coming at you) 3 major cases regarding this sort of thing. ( if you want to look at the court records goole for Flast, Frothingham, and Mellon)

The courts essentially established that Joe American can't sue the US government for spending money that goes against Joe's moral character. The original case was a 1st Amendment case basically saying freedom of religion was impared by the federal govt taxing a citizen who opposed a specific govt action based on religious grounds. A good example would be a US muslim who sues the govt for using his tax dollars for a holy war against his brothers in Allah. The Supreme Court basically said that all tax revenue is lumped together in the treasury with no ties to an individual. Spending programs draw from the treasury, not from an individual. So, yeah... basically after the money goes to IRS, it's not yours. Your money goes to pay for an M-16 or a tank, or a bridge, or who knows.

The second case basically set limits on the first one. It basically said that Federal tax dollars couldn't be used to oppress or thwart a religion. It granted standing to a person if a federal tax based program prohibited or inhibited their ability to practice their religion.

Anyway... Bush is using a double standard saying that the ethical issue of taxes for a questionable project is bad, because those same court rulings are what support his Office of Faith-based Initiates and permit tax handouts to large numbers of organizations with dubious agendas or have questionable practices (like the Boy Scouts).

You can argue that unused fetices for sciences is a bad trade, but aside from bad science, it's bad law to.

Now, lawyer on the other half of my brain will say this. Bush can veto anything for any reason. He doesn't have to have a creditible explaination based on law.

A clear majority of people in this country are in support of this measure, but instead the decision is made not scientifically, not legally (meaning based on precendent), or popularly (respecting the will of the people). It was based religiously to support a narrow-minded group of people who still prefer mysticism to reality.

Philosophical Differences

Hi kids...

Keep your eye on dangerous religo-nazi republicans... they're up to no good.

In order to help ebb the tide of all of the seperation of church and state and 1st amendment law suits going around... the religious fanatics in our country are going to change our language instead of changing the Constitution... because it's easier.

In the old days... Christianity was a religion. So was Hinduism, Taoism, and any other religion you could found in Civilization 4. Not any more.

Religions are protected or restricted by various constitutional mandates... depending on which side of the shroud you're on.

Philosophies are not.

That's right ladies and gentlemen... the latest craze in DC is to refer to Christianity (and all of its symbols on federal land) as a philosophy. Catholicism, Baptist, Methodist, Anglican... those are all religions.

So you can put a cross in a courthouse and say in god we trust on money... because that's a common christian philosophy... not a religous icon. If our money said, "Baptist Bill Be Blessed"... then... well that's religion encroaching.

Note... star of david... that's Jewish... and Judaism is still a religion... as are all of the other ones. So no star of David in a courthouse.

You must completely embrace the duality of Christianity now... it's a philosophy... when it needs to spread. It's a religion when it needs protection.

Gotta love the simplicity and perfection of a fatal virus mutation.

What's Your Name Fatbody?

I think the US marketing folks should have to drop the phrase "all volunteer" from their campaigns referring to the US Army.

It's not all volunteer anymore. There are 13,000 people currently serving that cannot leave the military, despite their service requirements being fulfilled.

Before you sneeze... I have no problem with the US saying you can't leave the army. No one is going to be showing up in droves to head over to Iraq. But we need to keep on doing whatever it is we do over there.

I just think the army should own up to the fact that the US Army has a fair number of people in it that'd rather not be.

Also, the US Army has been lurking around E3 trying to convince people war is like Ghost Recon.

Apparently, they had a display that featured a decked out marine in a Michael Bay combat scene with the slogan, "No Princesses, No Power Ups, No Cheat Codes". Next to that were a couple of recruiters with new haircuts.

Short one today... too much else going on at the moment to ramble on.

My Bologna Has a First Name, It's... um... Z-A-C-H-A-R-I-U-S.

So I saw yesterday that the jury in the big terrorist case has sentenced Zacharius Mousousooii (who cares really) to life in prison instead of death. The conventional wisdom is that he wanted to die and be a martyr or some such nonsense.

They shoulda killed him.

If they're going to keep him in prison, though, it should be a prison sponsored in part by Oscar Mayer. He should have to live in the bologna room. Everyday when it's his time to pray to his crap god... a Jewish woman should sit on his head and punch him in the crotch with a ham, screaming "Where's your god now, dirt bag?".

That'd be fun.

I also though that it'd be funny to give him daily blood transfusions of pig blood. During the process he'd have to watch Judge Judy and Desperate Housewives.

My wife thinks I'm mean, but my thought is that if Mr. Poo Stain (his given name in Arabic) is going to stand up in court and say that we can't do anything to him because he's great, Bin Ladel is great, and his god is great... we should look at this as a scientific experiment and see if he's right.

Ram a pepperoni stick in his hinder every hour on the hour.

That's if we keep him, I'm more of the mindset that we should have just shot him.

No frills, no lawyers... just have judge Brinkma stand up, draw a gun Eastwood style and plug him in the eye like Moe Green.

Would anybody really object? I mean anyone we care about?

I'm not in the pro-judge shooting defendant camp... I actually enjoy the rule of law. But if a defendant says I did it, I'd do it again... and I think that everyone in your country should die.... to me that sounds like it warrants a bullet in the eye.

I'm sure there is some activist group out there that would say it was naughty to eye shoot him.

But shoot them too.

And in case any of the hippie activists read this... uh yeah right... I actually understand the reasoning behind the 9/11 attacks. The US has done a pretty good job screwing over Arabs for quite a long time. If you act surprised that it happened, you're living in denial. That said, I'm in favor of paving the Middle East and putting up a Disney World. The Aladdin rides would be awesome. If you want to fight somebody... fight 'em all the way until there's nothing left... the US Middle Eastern policy has been a series of nose punches and then turning our backs on an angry enemy while dusting off our hands and thinking how "we showed them".

Your Ego is Killer

In the past few weeks, several retired generals of the United States have come out and talked about how bad Donny Rumsfeld has been running the war in Iraq. Hold on to your hats folks... I'm pretty pissed off at all of these turkeys attacking Rummy.

The common beat of their collective drum has been that Rummy is an idiot and he needs to be removed. When asked where was this mentality a few years ago, they respond that they cannot raise a conflicting view because dissentors are booted out of the army or demoted. There are quite a few examples of senior military commanders in the field and in the pentagon who spoke up and their careers were flushed because of it.

So basically... these now verbal generals made a decision that the issues they now consider so vital weren't worth risking their careers over. Good for you generals. Either the problems aren't that big of a deal and you're just bitter or the issues are serious but you were willing to put your men in harm's way to further your career.

Either way, you have no business representing the US armed forces. You are an embarassment.

As a side note, Rummy is a jackass.

Aw, Come On Dubs!

Now that Bush has fired his press secretary... I'm going to have to create a new logo for posts under this topic. The young Mr. McGoo in the picture is none other than Dubs' former press dodger Scott McClellan... although he's more affectionately referred to as Scotty the Human Sausage around the famous Washington metro stops.

I'm sure Pudgy the Whale will find happier times ahead. He was probably the worst press secretary in the history of avoidance. Bring back Ari! And bring an ice cream cake with you. Damn... now I want a Carvel's cake. With Scottbot's face on it.

No wait... he was smart and stepped out right before the Iraq debacle. I'm sure he won't be coming back.

I think they should have a shoe as the new press secretary. It would certainly be no worse than McClueless.

Before you chalk this up to my usual Bush hating... like I do... I've read and/or watched just about everything that came out of the Press Office for 9 years. I'm very qualified to say who sucks at that job. Ari was very good. And smart enough to get out of the job before it took down the public perception of the administration. Big Mac had a tough job and he never got comfortable in his role. I'm surprised he didn't stroke out.

So long Scott. Ya turd.

In Mexico, No One Can Here You Scream

My wife asked me a pretty good question yesterday... why doesn't INS go to all of these anti-deportation rallies and arrest illegal aliens? Ponderous. My initial thought is that somewhere out there someone has figured out away to say that the constitutionally protected right to assemble applies to foreigners. Probably.

That got me thinking.

I'll start with my initial thoughts on illegal immigration.

I'm passively against it. I was rather. Now I'm actively against it. For the pure and simple fact that the idiots on the marches tied up traffic in the DC area yesterday. Congratulations... you've earned my ire.

I enjoy the new slogans that the pro-Mexican lobby is coming up with. If you're against illegal aliens in the country... you're a racist. You're also anti-immigration. I like that flip there. If you're against illegal versions of immigrants, you're also against the legal ones too now. Kinda like drugs... I'm against heroine so now I'm also against Vicodin. Screw that. Vicodin rules, dumb dumbs!

Changing of the Guard at Romper Room

The population and media of late have been lobbying the White House to change around its staff in hopes that someone with an ounce of reason will be able crack the walnut that is G-Dog Bush's twisted perception of reality. Sadly, it looks like the "shake up" is going to be the retirement of Chief of Staff Andy Card.

I think it's pretty silly to think that Bush will allow anyone that is not of the hive mind to get within 100 yards of himself. He's been very consistent in his surrounding himself with people to form one of the most "one mindedness" White House administrations in the history of the United States. Secretary Card's replacement will be none other than former OMB toady Josh "I'm Not Michael" Bolton. I don't know much about Bolton. I'm sure he's a perfect ass kisser and will do a great job barfing up the latest reasons why we have to do what we have to do and how Iraq is going to be our finest hour and whatever else the presidential brain trust feels like farting into the American wind.

George W Bush Equals Adolph Hitler?

A lot of people in the world hate George Bush. It's a pretty common thing to do to equate Bush to Hitler. Anytime you want to hit an emotional button, Hitler's a pretty good one. Racial slurs are others... but not productive. Calling George Bush "Hitler" is usually desgned to get an emotional response. That's weak.

George W Bush does, however, take a page straight out of Hitler's rise to power.

Adolph Hitler, as evil a freak as he was, rose to power with the blessing of the German people. German people aren't mean and hateful... well... no moreso than people of any country. Why on earth did a significant group of people in Germany feel comfortable with a guy like Hitler, who wasn't a really bright guy. He wasn't someone with a lot of answers to Germany's problems either. Most people think that Hitler's masterful speaking did it, but he didn't really get into his speaking "groove" until after his government overthrow was well on its way. So how'd he get his backing?

Fear.

He scared the German people.

Hitler's big political movement, his masterful raise to power was based on a single element.

Fear.

Hitler preached to the masses that Communists are going to ruin the good German world. The Jews are screwing you over. If you don't stop them before they get started, you might be killed or circumcised.

Hitler drummed the German population into a state of perpetual fear.

George Bush's most popular point in his presidency?

Immediately following the 9/11 attacks.

George Bush didn't cause those attacks. But he sure as hell profitted in political clout. Ever since, everything he has done has been done to stop the terrorists.

Laws that staunch Republicans have wanted to skirt, are now skirted... to help protect the United States against terrorists.

Iraq was invaded... to stop terrorists.

The American people are sanctioning acts that they never would have if they did not "fear" the world they live in.

Does this mean that there is not a serious terrorist threat? No... but it also doesn't mean that folks aren't using this new environment for their own gains.

George Bush has even made comments that being president would be easier if he didn't have to deal with congress.

That's probably true... but maybe if he wanted an easy job he should go be a lifeguard or something.

At some point I'd love to discuss the Bush years with a Bush supporter. Not a Republican zealot though. I'm curious if Bush has accomplished anything in his presidency... besides getting alot of people killed.

Anyway... I think everyone should have to read a few thousand pages on world history... so everyone can understand how something like a holocaust or world war can start... and see how that comes into play in the modern world. But that takes work... sadly the fat, dumb and lazy masses would rather blindly live in fear.

After typing this, I'll probably be taken away to Cuba to be not tortured by Alberto "Himmler" Gonzalez.

But take away the angry sarcasm and just take my point at face value. Next time you see the President trying to move forward with something shady... is he trying to scare you into supporting it?
